Buying pre-owned makes real financial sense. Being able to skip the initial hit of depreciation, as well as receiving a watch as meticulously prepared as ours are (backed up of course by a twelve month warranty) is a satisfying way to purchase a fine timepiece. But if you really do want your watch brand new, then there’s no need to look elsewhere; Watchfinder can give you a helping hand. By communicating through our nationwide network of authorised retailers, who are as passionate about watches as we are, we can pinpoint the one that has the watch you’re looking for, saving you hours of your time on the phone and on the road with just one simple search. So whether you want a watch that’s new or pre-owned, look no further than Watchfinder. Click here

Watchfinder, the UK’s largest online retailer of fine watches will formally introduce its new brand, WF&Co, to customers, the trade and the press this week. The re-branding has been timed to coincide with the company’s stylish new website, currently receiving 500,000 visits per month. The e-commerce platform will continue to be known as Watchfinder but this will sit alongside a range of new services underneath the WF&Co umbrella. The new services which are either already online or will be introduced in the coming months include The Watch Magazine, already the UK’s biggest online watch magazine, a Mayfair office, a members club including a rental service, a retail store, and a calendar of customer events.

“The WF&Co (Watchfinder & Co) brand represents the diversification of the business over the last 2 years, as we are now so much more than just a retailer of pre-owned fine watches” commented Brand Director Lloyd Amsdon. “WF&Co retains a clear link to the heritage associated with Watchfinder, a brand synonymous with exceptional watches and peerless customer service. We’re all looking forward with anticipation to this, the first of many events.”

The evening reception will take place on the 17th of November between 7pm and 9pm at a central London location.

10 pairs of tickets are available, if you’d like to attend please RSVP to Louisa@watchfinder.co.uk

We’re beta testing our brand new Watchfinder website, and we’d like to invite you as our guest to have a little look before it goes fully live next week. What we’ve done is taken everything that was good about Watchfinder and fine-tuned it to make it a great browsing experience and then added a whole host of new features to make it even better. Our search function is vastly improved, offering intelligent on-the-fly navigating through our catalogues, our editorial content has been integrated with our products so you can read up on your next purchase, and we have introduced ‘The Collection,’ a shop window of rare, vintage and exquisite pieces that are the most desirable on the market. These are just a handful of the improvements we’ve made, but we’d rather you just see it for yourself. Got any questions or a comment you’d like to make about it? We’d love to hear it, so please do let us know. Try the site out, see what we’ve done, and most of all, enjoy your visit. click here

24/7 has now become The Watch Magazine, and with the change in name comes an array of improvements for you to enjoy. We’re starting things off with a competition, a closer look at some bizarre Bell & Ross’s, a visit to the Armin Strom factory and we lift the curtains on MB&F’s latest masterpiece, the Legacy Machine No.1. You won’t want to miss it. visit The Watch Magazine

The Patek Philippe 5070 was born in 1998 and the white gold 5070G models in 2003. This classic chronograph was considered at launch to be quite large at 42mm in diameter, but under the light of today’s market, its size seems perfect. The beautiful silver dial with all-black furniture harks back to classical, pure watchmaking, where understated aesthetics meet functional design. Flip the watch over and the back is just as mesmerising as the front, with the Patek-reworked Lemania movement shining through the sapphire caseback. It’s easy to see why Patek are king. click here

As well as the Patek Philippe, these four watches also caught our eye when they came in through the door this month with the other four hundred plus. The Grand Carrera’s silver dial is a real eye-catcher, the Breitling sparkles like the Côte d’Azur, the IWC has one of the biggest white gold cases we’ve ever seen and the Panerai is as light as a feather.

You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet on 24/7, and that’s because the team have been hard at work combining it with the Watchfinder site to create a whole new look and experience. Both the new Watchfinder site and the new 24/7 site are going live next week, so make sure you check back to see our fantastic new changes. visit 24/7
