Tag Heuer sponsors Stock Car Brasil
Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has confirmed it will sponsor Stock Car Brazil, the biggest series in Brazilian motorsport.
The company said it has agreed a deal with organisers to become the official timekeeper and timing supplier of the championship.
Tag Heuer will provide a number of services throughout the 12-race season, including the use of its Chronolec ProTime Elite decoders and Elite V2 time management software.
The drivers will also be kept up to date with safety directives from the race organisers via the company’s OLED Messenger device, which will be installed in every vehicle.
The championship, which involves 34 drivers, is broadcast in 40 countries, and has a global audience of around 9 million.
Stock Car Brazil organisers have said the cars will be using ethanol-fuelled cars in the 2010 championship.
